This is my 2nd (possible 3rd) loss. My husband and I were able to see her. We buried her after these photos were taken.
In some photos she appears lighter in color than others, and that is because the doctor recommended refrigeration to preserve tissue. But then said, over the phone, that I was too early and there wasn’t any testing they could do. I miscarried on thanksgiving of 2015. These are the only photos I will ever have of our baby.
Please no hateful words. I made this video for those who are interested in seeing what a 6 and a half week old fetus looks like. And also, to preserve the only memory we will ever have with her.
And no, obviously we didn’t know the gender, but I felt like she would have been a girl and it’s far better than calling her an it.
The ultrasound shown was performed on November 24, 2015. I was 6w4d and they were concerned it may have been an ectopic pregnancy, because I had several hcg blood draws previous and my levels were not dropping as quickly as they thought they should.
We will always love our babies. RIP my angels.
