Kudos to the kids who took care of the toddler and a baby! This kind of incident has happened decades back. In school, we studied real story/autobiography of a girl who was flying to a different place to take treatment for her cancer. She gets lost in the same way by flight accident. She was the only survivor, she walks through the forest alongside of a river with the knowledge given by her grandparents before. Any down flowing river will eventually end up in a city, so she walk in the path of the down stream of the river. She was advised by elders not to eat the brightest fruit as they could be poisonous. She carefully watches what other animals eat and walk through the dense forest for weeks while at the same time a rescue team is trying to locate the debris and for survivor. Finally, the girl is rescued and taken to the hospital where they found minor injuries to treat and a wound that had worms by some insects eggs. Other than that, the girl was perfectly healthy and to everyone's surprise, her cancer was gone. The fruits and things she ate in the forest had cured her cancer.
