Story :-
OP (F, 45) has an idyllic and picturesque family life with her husband Jeff (M, 45), and adopted son Timothy (M, 10). Ten years ago, OP and Jeff adopted newborn Timothy from a young and financially destitute couple who could not afford to keep the baby. OP and Jeff raised the child as their own and have a loving and happy relationship with Timothy today.
Everything is turned upside down when a decade later Timothy’s biological parents resurface. Timothy’s father, Ziggy (M, 30), and his mother, Marlena (F, 30), are now financially well off and determined to take their child back from OP and Jeff. OP and Jeff obviously refuse, which causes Ziggy and Marlena to go on the warpath to gain custody of Timothy. They begin engaging in shady tactics like spreading lies about the family and trying to turn Timothy against them. OP and Jeff have no choice but to hire well-known shrewd lawyer Hoss Scoggins (M, 55) to defend themselves from Ziggy and Marlena’s continued disruptions.
OP has turned to Reddit R/AITA asking for advice on the situation. In update one, OP and Jeff get a call from Timothy’s principal saying that the school has received complaints about them being bad parents. OP cannot prove it, but she suspects Ziggy and Marlena are behind it.
In update two, Ziggy and Marlena begin harassing OP and Jeff at the restaurant where they both work, trying to get them fired. In update three, Ziggy and Marlena reach new lows by using Photoshop to produce a fake image of OP endangering Timothy. They give the photo to Child Protective Services, opening a whole new can of worms for OP.
In update four, OP and Jeff discover that Hoss Scoggins is working with Ziggy and Marlena behind their backs, creating an ethical dilemma. In update five, Hoss Scoggins is exposed for his illegal activity and a judge sentences Ziggy and Marlena to jail for their harassment. OP and Jeff decide to move to a different city to give the family a new start in life after all the drama.

usually when parents give up for adoption and return years later. its due to:
1. they found out they are infirtle. cant cant have kids again, so get the kid they already had
2. they didnt like the idea of diapers feedings, typical little kid stuff. so "ent" their child till he was old enough where raising would be easy
there is a 3rd (money) but thats usually involved now adults who have good jobs or inheritence

The word is “infuriate”. you say “infuriorate” which isn’t even a word.
There are numerous other words you do this with and the list is honestly embarrassingly long. I honestly like many things about your delivery and narration however if a person is listening that is not a native speaker you will teach them incorrect vocabulary if they listen and learn from you. If you really want me to do so I will listen and compile a list of words I’ve heard but you seem intelligent enough to listen to your own work and edit on your own. Again I may seem cruel and that is not my intent. I honestly would love to see you improve. I had to unsubscribe to listen less as your errors were like listening to fingernails on a chalkboard as I would hear mispronunciations and often words replaced with others that sounded similar but had entirely different meanings. I could read the text and the context and it was obvious that the words you were saying had meanings that were entirely different from the words expressed or written by the original posters. Find a lawyer, not a Reddit channel. Being contacted like this is often a scam to force the adopted parents to pay up to keep the child.
You would think lawyers would be honest in their dealings but there are bad apples in every profession. Unfortunately I dealt with a crooked attorney, or should I say greedy attorney. He was good at his job and won my case but he double charged his fee at the end. And I wasn't the only client either. Finally a bunch of us complained and started a lawsuit against him. He had to close his practice, his wife left him and he lost his license to practice law. We never got our money though.
Mr. Reddito I'm subscribed to your channel!! I don't know why people don't subscribe or why people who are subscribed don't watch or comment. I had a channel for 5 years with over 3,000 subs. Only maybe 0.05% of those actually watched. The other 90-95% was non-subscribers.

When you keep getting told there's nothing anyone can do, that's when you hire a private investigator and body guard.
Scoggins should have lost his state licence and all should be in prison for conspiring to kidnap a child.
Kind of hard to believe that this couple just believed that Hoss Scoggins the super high powered famous lawyer was giving them such advice and did not get another lawyer's opinion LONG before they accidentally found him colluding. How can you win? Geez… you should have done some homework on your rights a LONG time ago. Glad you finally got a new lawyer and took Scoggins, Ziggy and Marlena down! NEVER just trust one Dr's or one lawyer's (or other pro's) opinions on issues this serios!
Sue them for Harassment and force them away with a no contact order until age 21
Honestly, i would've moved away from the beginning. Would've moved my child to another school when they approached him at school.
But before all this, i think I'd have informed my child, from toddler hood, that i had adopted them.
I was adopted by my stepfather we didn't have the problems the Dopey did my father knew that he wasn't worth from the way I should plus you went off to jail for for being a cook not talking food if I was an opium shoes I would have done the same thing as they did once I found out that my lawyer was being unethical I would have got another lawyer sued him and would Dan try to get my child back plus I think it dachshund is final

If the employer valued them, they would have filed a trespass on the stalking couple. Also if a photo is photoshopped the metadata should be in the image.
Not only will he loose his license to practice law, but every case he was ever connected to will have to be gone over again. Especially the ones that were connected to the cousin.
OP should have taken a picture of Hoss with them before saying Hi. OP's should just end themselves and will everything they own to Ziggy and Marlena.

You move, pack up your kid and move and go MIA. Leave no trace of where you are going . Tell no one . That is what I had to do with my daughter and granddaughter. I packed them in one car ,in 3 hours and drove them 500 miles away and hid them . He didn't know they were gone for 2 days . He has no car so he couldn't follow us .
Report attorney to ethics committee. Get a private detective to follow them
Get a restraining order
Now sue the CPS

Wow, OP is stupid. The cops are stupid.The lawyer is stupid and suspicious. The phone calls ( they did not change their voice so how is that not enough )The fact that Ziggy and Marlena had their information out of nowhere and the letters are enough, them approaching the child was enough evidence, showing up at the restaurant and complaining, leaving reviews, making fake evidence for the CPS

My husband was adopted and he's known as long as he can remember. He was born Sept 4 and taken home in October. His parents celebrated both until into his 20's.
I really have no idea what I would do. I don't have any children. So that is something I can't answer. I do have 3 cats that I adopted. Now, at 62, it is far too late to have any.
id find a way to sue the lawyer because im pretty sure its a breach of confidentiality of a client to give personal details out is against the law
what the bio parents are doing are wrong. while they are bio parents, they adopted the kid out besides. it's not really the best interest on uprooting a kid who's 10 years old. the mistake the adoptive parents made was not being honest with their son. how selfish can a parent be trying to push them self's back into a child's life that's settled in their new life

My son is adopted and, I think, if I was going through what you are, I would explain to my son that he is so very special because I was chosen and all adopted children are special. Families happen in different ways and your family received an amazing gift with and addition when he came in to your family. Once he is comfortable with that information call a press conference and tell the world what the birth parents were doing and how your son has been negatively effected. That should make the bps back off but if not get a restraining order against them.
