Not incredible. . . beside the fact of the fallen airplane, these children are in their grounds. They are locals to the jungle. . . they play and know that jungle . . The strange thing would have been that they didnt make it . . . That is their yard !!

This kid should make a book or movie one day and tell his story
I don’t even know if my 15 yr old boy could survive alone in the jungle for 40 days, or home alone comfortable for 40 days honestly. But this teen boy stepped up and kept himself and his siblings alive, even the 1 yr old! That’s honestly remarkable. My sons favorite book used to be Hatchet, which talks about this scenario happening to 1 boy, so I had to tell him about this and he was impressed. It’s also a brutal reminder how diverse our world is and how sheltered we can be. We all learn so many different things, are molted by our environments and adapt to any circumstance. But if we all worked together and shared the knowledge we have world wide, I bet the world could get a little bit better.

This is absolutely insane! My jaw is to the floor. I cannot believe these young kids could survive such dangerous conditions for 40 days! The Amazon is one of the most dangerous jungles in the world. For a 1 year old baby to survive through this while being cared for by a 13 year old is absolutely astonishing. Thank god those kids were found
