I have an x70 and a 100t and love them both. But I really like tilt screens. I’m trying to decide whether to get a V and keep the 70 or sell them all and get the xe4 and two lenses. I learned to shoot as a kid with a Zeiss ikon contessa rangefinder, but I never use the optical viewfinder on my Fuge. You are inspiring me to give it a chance.
I will say the same about the Lumix GX-9. It tells the story on the street, is user friendly, and if used for other crafts, you have the many lenses. As for the Fujifilm X100V, it has some remarkable assets to it. The fine leaf shutter, and new and improved lens is great. The viewfinder window is unique, and some will use it. The look is awesome. It is made in Japan. Speaking of Japan, Canon has introduced APS-C with RF mount, which appear to cost more than what I paid for my RP. Still, it is interesting and I do wonder about the new sensor — will it have greater dynamic range? Nikon and Sony have had an advantage with dynamic range. The X-Trans sensor is interesting — I assume it will be at the heart of Fujifilm cameras going forward. Will they keep using top dials for settings? Some of the Fujifilm have changed to front – back dial instead. It seems that Fujifilm makes different models at different locations around the world — and lenses, same thing. Canon being made in Japan is a plus. Not saying China and other countries are inferior locations for output. Lumix cameras are well assembled in China. Lumix lenses, in some cases, are made in Japan. – Loren
…And one reason that is not: You can't buy one! This camera can't be found (at least here in U.S.) anywhere. If it does show up, I've seen it listed for over $500 higher that the retail price.
Come on Fujifilm… you have a winner, let us buy one!
