Baby’s Day Out is a 1994 American adventure comedy film directed by Patrick Read Johnson and written by John Hughes, who also produced the film. Starring Joe Mantegna, Lara Flynn Boyle, Joe Pantoliano, and Brian Haley. The plot centers on a wealthy baby’s abduction by three criminals, his subsequent escape and adventure through Chicago while being pursued by the criminals. The film was released on July 1, 1994, by 20th Century Fox in the United States to both critical and commercial failure, grossing only $30 million against a $48 million budget.

This apocalypse lacks seahorses.
But it was my favorite Rugrats episode.
I remember watching this movie as a kid with my dad and he were laughing so hard that he cried for like 10 minutes and I never understood how he could find this movie that funny, Same thing with the slapstick in home alone. I guess that's his type of humor.
I actually really like this movie. I agree with Ebert.

I always get this and 3 Men and A Baby confused
I know it’s just a goofy movie not to be taken seriously at all, but throughout the review I kept thinking: no one notices this baby ever? No one notices the three guys chasing after the baby?
This is like that episode of Garfield where they intentionally make the most mistakes
I must've seen this movies a thousand times when I was a kid. The scenes with the gorilla were my favourite parts.

Corridor's look into the special effects of this movie gave me more appreciation for this.
obviously there arent baby stuntmen so they made animatronic babies for the stunts.
also all the hidden compositing on the stunt scenes
