I respect JM, but even he puts forth the stigma that is only men who are deadbeats… When giving lessons he starts out saying "ladies if you're watching… The deadbeat dad, if he didn't pay in a long time".. As if women aren't behind.

If they did not want to go tru the court; why buy money orders and keep any and all receipts, whether any other purchases and medical bills; keep the receipts. Better yet scanned them on usb drive for further back up system.
No one seeing the trauma-drama that threatened the child or children's lives as they see and hear the negative causes and effects on their growing up stages.

Not trying to make it about race but I've seen the judge tear some black men apart for seeing the child more than once a month. This guy gets a pass? I believe every word she said. If you are that far behind in child support, you're not seeing your child either!
JM pisses me off sometimes. I hate to say this but HRS a lot harder on our culture of men than them. He know damn well he wouldn't have responded in this way if he was black. I've seen numerous cases of him going off … the defendant know he was lying. Yu weren't around & haven't done nothing for that baby. Dudes always get off easy but let the mother walk away & come around once a month, we would be everything except a child of GOD.

Now Judge Mathis really gets on my damn nerve acting like just because some men only seeing their child a few times a year, not providing financially or any others way for that matter, is beneficial to the child because IT'S NOT! Judge mathis is wrong in this case. This dude is a dead beat and seeing ur child once or twice a month isnt enough mom doesnt have the choice to not feed him the rest of the month or cloth him or buy him stuff. Smh My bio father has 6 kids all by different women. He owes child support for all of us. Im the oldest. He has had multiple warrants out and has always gotten off, doesnt show up to court and always works under the table so they cant take his checks. The only child hes raised is the youngest whos 8 because her mom died from covid last yr. But he gets a check for her every month.

sometimes a absent dad is better than a abusive dad or a addict.. my father was a alcoholic. he was always working.. but when my parents was together he was extremely abusive when he punished bad behaviors…he hit my mom alot.. when they divorced.. she didn't have to worry about being beaten on nor us either.. but sadly she also found out she had less than 4 years to live. I many times wished he wouldn't come home
he used fists on my brothers.. tge oldest got it the worst and that also is sad.. because he was well behaved. but my dad made a example of him for the other brothers to see. I loved. my dad very much.. when he was nice.. which was most of the time.. it was nice at home
Why is Mathis acting like seeing your kid once a month is fine?… that means you’ve seen the child 12 times out of a year and only 204 times out of 17 YEARS! Which means there’s 348 days out of the year you HAVENT SEEN HIM and 5,916 days out of SEVENTEEN YEARS you haven’t seen the child! It’s so obvious taking a day out of each month means he’s only seen that child 12 times out of an entire YEAR… why Mathis is acting like that’s sooooooo great is beyond me 🤮
