Guys, you don't have to talk to get your message across. Shhhush them. Get the young man's attention with some noise, then hold your finger to your lips in the universal sign of not talking. Tell him/show him, don't talk to the police. Even if they hassle you about talking, there's other ways to communicate it. Even consider carrying a small sign and displaying it. They can't say nuthin' to that.

Cops are useless. I had trailer stolen with over 50k worth of video DJ equipment. They would not even come to location to take report. They told me to come down to station and fill out paperwork for my insurance. That’s it.
