More About “A Family Affair”:
On Christmas eve, a family is left stranded in an isolated cabin in the woods by a blizzard. An old woman who’s found herself stranded in the storm knocks on their door seeking shelter for the night. As she settles in, she explains to them she was wandering out in the woods searching for her lost son, a story that has unsettling parallels to the family’s own drama. As the night deepens, the lines between reality and fantasy begin blur to horrifying consequences for all.

Hey everyone! Kyle Mangione-Smith here, thank you so much for watching my short, would love to hear any thoughts/questions everyone might have about the film.
Any theories about this? Would love to read some
That’s why you don’t open your fkn door to strangers especially in the night wtfffff 😭😭😭😭 this was so good though
I didn't like this short. Awful and made me extremely uncomfortable.
The old woman looks like the grandma from The Visit.
This was great…definitely ended too soon. Who's Jonah and what happened when she ran after them. Does she turn into the creepy lady looking for her Henry?!?
Well done. I expected the kid to become Jonas.
Me believes they were getting cabin fever.
Tense film, but I couldn't really see what happened at the end. It looked like the two boys just kinda walked into the air and vanished, but it was so dark and they were so small in the shot that I couldn't tell. Anyone have a better view?
First! 💯
Is it a cycle? The younger mother has now lost her son, and she will be the next to wind up at someone’s door?
Meh….could have been better.
I'm sure it was a nail biter. Unfortunately no amount of change to the contrast or brightness on my controls would lighten the picture up enough so I could see what was happening. Why do directors think the scene must be almost pitch black to make things scary??! Very frustrating.
Who else thought it was Elijah Wood in the thumbnail?
& on Christmas Eve! 😓
Well done ❣️👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🌹
Blessings to you and your viewers~💫☃️

Creepy good. Wish I had better words….I did grasp my pillow…..
Great work 👍
Loved this!!! I take it then that the boy does this over and over, house to house? making the mom go looking for him out in the cold? idk, but it was good…loved the dad made his "return" when he did!!! And I don't care if someone was going to freeze, no one is answering my door that late at night, especially how hard she banged on it!? The knock was even scary!!! LOL!
