Omggg so fast!! slow down for someone to learn about the settings? That's why I clicked this video lol
Really hope no one get caught up with this umm ahh retarded dumb dumb
Absolute great advice. So many YouTube's share false info about everything photography. Thanks…
WHEN BACK BUTTON IS NOT USEFUL.
While pressing back button Auto Focus you can't select another focus point. Let's say you're shooting and decide to move the focus point on a bird that's just to right of center but you have set the focus at center af point. Now if you try to press the a.f. selection button its impossible.
But if you have the top main dial set as a.f. half press all you need do is hit the a.f. selection button and move your point to the desired new position.
Also you shouldnt use it for dedicated flight photography. Because you will be continuously focusing when shooting birds in flight, it will be more comfortable for your hands to half press the shutter button for focus and fully press to release the shutter, rather than having to hold two buttons at once.
I don't use back button focus. I prefer to use back buttons for AF-OFF,ONE SHOT/AI-SERVO,REGISTER RECALL FUNCTION. Also with pro bodies you can register your preferred af point selection so you can switch between say a single point to a focus point cluster. Just by holding or tapping a rear button. I know of no pro- photographer that uses back button as the preferred method. Occasionally using back button in rare instances when the action is slow they may use it. I know pro sports photographers who never adjust the settings in auto focus cases, they just use the defaults. And say they get great results. Speaking of A.F. , below are some of my pro tips on auto focus point selections for budding photographers.
A.F.points for Birds in flight:
The rule of thumb for birds in flight is that the busier the background, the less focus points you use.
If you are a beginner or casual bird photographer, you should select the configuration which has a central focus with about eight surrounding AF points (roughly square-shaped) for birds in flight with busy backgrounds. As you get better, you may want to cut back on the number of surrounding points.
Conversely, if you have a plain background behind the action, like full blue sky, is a good time that you have all AF points selected. This maximises your chance of acquiring focus and is especially great with erratic moving birds. I've used this method shooting spiralling Eagles or fights in mid air as well.

I have seen many cameras which have a lock switch under, where it is written set. What does that switch do and what it means

What does changing the picture style from standard to neutral do?
If your turning all the features off I think u need a new camera 📷😉buddy
Eeeekk, please slow down. I was really struggling to keep up 😒
FFS I saw the aspect ration option and wanted to know about but you just scrolled right past it. Great.
Thank you. Can you please recommend a good sturdy tripod for Portrait mode in particular for this camera? I cannot find one to take shots of videos of myself as my lens is quite heavy 🙁 thanks so much
THAAAAAAAAAANK YOU
Too fast to catch up . Wish you would be a bit slower great video though
Dude slow down can’t even follow
Troppo in fretta ma come la fai questa lezione
Good review, but at this level we ought to be clear about everything. When shooting in RAW, the camera is capturing the raw data only, and so just as the AWB is irrelevant, so the picture style is also irrelevant. The camera will use the selected white balance and picture style choice in order to generate a picture on the camera's view screen, but this information is not transferred into Lightroom. Instead, Lightroom will generate a picture from the raw data based on the setting selections you have chosen in the software, irrespective of the camera picture style choice. Also, Lightroom will set as a starting point the white balance according to the AWB setting that the camera chose. Thanks for the review of the Mark IV.
"I don't do idol ISO, so I don't touch that," yet you did change something. Moving at light speed through the settings. Awful tutorial.
too fast, you speak way too fast, plus we need an update on this
I switched to this camera from Canon EOS M50, and I am happy with your settings. I copied almost all. Thank's a lot.
Do not use 3:2 for YouTube videos, your pictures will be cropped, use 16:9 instead.
Rubbish video. Skipped everything, then oh I use this. Who cares, explain what they do.
When you can workout a computer, a phone, PlayStation, Xbox but lost on a camera 😂
thanks men ,please do the video now how to setup it for 4k video recording also what gimbal are you using I would appreciate
The settings don’t display on the back on my camera when I’m shooting. How do I fix this? I’ve been struggling with this for two days.
You go too fast. Some of us are elderly, and even when rewinding, it is still WAY too fast. Don't appreciate your smart comment to Chris H
One time I saw a flash, but it ended up being lightening in the shape of a picnic basket.
This could have been a great video if it was a bit slower and actually explained why and the different settings for purpose. I had to check out of it earlier because it was like watching a game of ping pong.
I just bought a mk iv and for some reason I dont get the option to choose AI Focus. any tips on what lm doing wrong?
Do you typically speak this fast. Im new to this camera and hoped to learn but something but too fast for me. Thanks for the vid though I sure someone would have followed
It becomes so annoying when wrong content is thrown up at you from yotube! you guys need to get your SEO right
Audio controls!! YAS, I agree!
awesome tripod what type?
what is the flikar
Dude . I don't use this, that's not interesting, I dont adjust that. A video of donts! Why bother…
What’s the point on using SRGB?
Do you if there is a way of preventing your light meter and shooting info turning off after 6 seconds in the view finder? Gets annoying if shooting in manual exposure mode.
Too fast, presuming too much familiarity for beginners, ergo not useful. Sorry, gotta find a better vid.
Complicated feature options, would like a tutorial on setting up customization. So far I just use auto modes.
Camera settings are all relative to the shooter. Learn your camera and what works for you.
You don’t use this, you don’t use that.
I learned … not a thing!
And you went too fast
Picture style does not effect raw.
WARNING: FOR ALL YOU POCKET WIZARD USERS OUT THERE AND MOST PROS USE THEM. THIS CANON MODEL5D MARK IV DOES NOT WORK WITH POCKET WIZARD. CANON DESIGNED IT TO NOT WORK WITH POCKET WIZARD. IF I WOULD HAVE KNOWN THIS I WOULD NOT HAVE BOUGHT THIS MODEL. ALL MY OTHER CANONS DO WORK WITH POCKET WIZARD. DO NOT BUY THIS MODEL GUYS. I WISH I HAD NOT AND I AM GOING TO TRY AND RETURN MY 5D MARK IV SINCE I HAVE JUST OWNED IT FOR A WEEK NOW. I WISH SOMEONE DOING REVIEWS ON THIS CAMERA WOULD HAVE TOLD US THIS.
I guess what info did he give he is gotto learn a lot he is just an amateur
Why my 5dmark iv is making soft images.. I've changed all my lenses and using canon lens but still it's risky.. when ever i recompose my frame photos gets soft. Even on f4 😓
I have recently gotten this camera and thought your video would help but you are moving and talking too fast. I was trying to go through the steps with my camera to see where you are but just cannot keep up. I am not a beginner photographer but neither am I a pro. Thanks for making the video though.
