This channel would be better if you did all fuji for leisure and pro. Now that left canon 5d3 and L lenses for fuji xt2, xt20, i really look forward to all my pro work and thoroughly enjoy it. When i would do wedding or fashion work with canon, it would feel like work…. not enjoyable

Mow your leaves right into the grass once a week throughout the fall, spend the extra time with your kids. They'll disappear. No, not the kids, the leaves. Raked and bagged the first year I moved into my house. That was the last time, 13 years ago. Love all your videos.
I have two questions.
1) What is the lens hood you are using on 56 1.2? It's look smaller than the one provided by Fuji. If it is a 3rd party one how it perform compared to the one came with lens?
2) Was 1/4000 shutter necessary?

Great video. Thanks for making it. I've 1 question: wouldn't 1/2000 or even 1/1000 been enough to freeze the motion, and go lower on ISO for better quality?
Omar, I so much agree with you about telling people to smile. I absolutely hate hearing that when I am the subject. Maybe others have different opinion. Anyway, you acutally bring out fun with your engagement. This shows in the results. I know you said to keep what you like, and immediately delete the rest. I've heard it suggested to actually not delete anything. Instead, walk away from the pictures and actually try to forget them. After forgetting them, it is a better time to revisit the entire sequence. This is an easy way to have fresh eyes devoid of what you were trying to accomplish at the time, which brings you to a better mental space to act as an editor. In this fresh state of mind, you become an objective critic of the images. This gives you the best ability to find jewels that can otherwise be deleted (captured moments never to be seen again) had you not given them the chance.
Just a thought… of course, want to keep photography fun, so whatever works 🙂

Thanks for the clue! One questions please… I am all this Saturday downloading the +2000 photos I took yday at an Touristic Event… I have using Mac image capture, in lots of no more than 40 images, however is being taking hours soooooo slow… and do not use Lightroom for this… On1 photo Raw neither import the whole lot… and tested Capture One that I own since I bought Canon 6d mark ii as a bonus… and it is also very sloooow in my iMac end 2009… any clue of a faster capturing method for Fujifilm Raw files, which on the other hand noticed is neither Lightroom apple of the eye… thanks for your advice. Happy week end
Dear Omar, thanks for all the wonderful Fuji XT20 video. I am a long time viewer, first time poster of your channel. I got a XT20 recently and so far I am loving the camera. However, I find myself having difficulties shooting in continuous mode, e.g. like my camera would detect a face but somehow focus somewhere else; what settings to use; do i use manual/auto; which AF mode to use; with zone mode/face on, and many more questions. Do you think you can make a video explaining how to take good photos of moving subjects? Thanks so much!

hi omar! great video as always, thank you! why don‘t you use continious AF on the 56mm for the shots with movement? i guess you‘d have a lot more shots in focus than with pre-focusing.

Thanks for the videos. I bought my X-T20 for my vacation to Puerto Rico you have been very helpful in this learning curve my last 2 camera were a Pentax k1000 & Nikon N75. I think it was the right choice to get the X-T20. One thing that frustrated me a little was get used to the aperture in the body of the 📷. I want to get at least 3 more lenses but they are kind expensive.

Great tips, Omar! Especially the CHah mode 😂 and pre-focusing! The kids (and you) had fun, and you got some excellent shots…when they look at those pics when they’re older, it will bring back memories of that day. So much better than a bunch of posed “cheesy” pics.

Omar, how do you have connected the camera to the monitor? It looks like you can do tethering with your xt20.
