It’s been 3 years since I last had an overseas holiday with my family, so I thought what better chance to get the entire family out of Perth than to take them with me to Singapore for the 2022 Singapore GP. That’s why this vlog will be a little different to my normal F1 travel vlog, because instead of just myself talking to the camera, I have involved everyone I’m travelling with!
Now I must say that not everyone is attending the Singapore Grand Prix with me, although I am bringing my youngest son Jayce to work with me in the Singapore Paddock. After we finish at the Singapore GP I’ll also be taking everyone straight from Singapore to Tokyo for the 2022 Japanese GP. When I was working in F1, Japan and Oz were a twined at the end of the season.
I’d fly to Singapore or Hong Kong, go up to Japan for Suzuka, back to Singapore or Hong Kong between the races and then down to Oz for Adelaide.
I was lucky to stop once in Tahiti on the way out, and come back through New Zealand and Fiji.
Kym’s second shortest trip was by far my longest . . .

Ahhh on the Black Rapid straps.. yes indeed they are excellent to carry camera gear but when the hook wears down after years of service you cannot replace it, even though the straps are in perfect condition!
