Police have allowed the owner of the Enyobeni tavern in Scenery Park, East London to remove their remaining stock. Eyewitness News took a look inside the tavern where 21 teenagers died.

The truth of the matter is, there are still plenty of taverns like these in townships all over South Africa, but unfortunately, the neighbours do not address these issues. Parents of underage kids still let their kids go out to places like these.
We are living in times whereby, as a people, we only react when tragedy strikes. Rest in peace to these innocent young souls who were let down by the elders who knew about it and did nothing to avoid this.
