The sinking and leaning Millennium Tower may now be partly supported to bedrock, but a glass industry veteran says he is concerned about the ongoing risk from its windows after two failed during a windstorm earlier this year. Jaxon Van Derbeken reports.

Excellent American workmanship. I wonder who got this job. And ruined it.

Are decision makers waiting for this thing to just fall? What a terrible situation for people who bought into this.

This is not going to end well. Anyone still in that building is a damn fool. That building needs to be condemned.

Gotta wonder if Stockton Rush was the contractor who built that place. One way or another that building is going to come down. The only question is whether it will be safely dismantled by humans or whether the problem will be ignored until mother nature simply does the job herself. Either way it seems like a very foolish structure to have assembled in an area well known for seismic instability. In the event of a moderate to severe earthquake, being anywhere near that thing will be a death sentence.

Better be safe, than sorry. It needs to be condemned and torn down. It’s that simple. Now that they are completely aware of the dangers…. They are acting irresponsibly. A small hole in your boat(as opposed to a big one) just means it takes a little longer to sink. Time’s a tickin’. This is a disaster waiting to happen. Thus the news cameras pointed at it 24-7. I wouldn’t get within a mile of that building.

Question is, how many days or weeks after the building crashes down before the city officials do something about this building. I'm betting city leaders are convinced this building is "too big to fail" and some how a poof of kumbaya is gonna fix everything and all will be well in the city skyline.

The city signed off on the plans and inspected. City is culpable. State is culpable.

I feel so pensive. I understand the relationship of owners, tenants, and building management. There is a lot at stake here. But the city has the right to control the outcome of the building as a safety first issue.

This is just my opinion. But after the collapse in florida. People should not just be accepting of reports. They need to be vigilant of their surroundings. It will be very sad if lives are lost due to probable reports.

Windows wont matter when the whole building is in the street.

P.S. get out now! That entire building has been compromised due to the shifting foundation. You do not need to be a structural engineer to figure this out. More and more problems will surface and then the whole shebang will occur. You can never underestimate gravity!!

It's not a matter of if the tower will fall, but when. You'll never catch me anywhere near that deathtrap. Of course, no one will be held responsible, in any meaningful way, either.

I get this nagging feeling that this building will one day keel over and that all the shoring up has been for naught.

What a dump of a building. Time to realize it will never be safe to occupy and should be torn down.

Why hasn’t the building been condemned!? It doesn’t take an engineer to understand how compromised this building is. Unacceptable!!!!! 😤
