Sony has ALWAYS been really proud of their products although they really never were anything special.
IF the R1 is 65 and the R3 is down to 5k, id like to see the R5 drop to about 2500. i might be able to convince the HFO, i need one!
Lol. Well my excuse is I watched it a day late and got fooled.
Alpha cameras only have a -3 EV focus rating, this requires a fast, wide open lens to focus. Nikon has a -6.5 EV. So if your inside shooting sports in low light you need to have a 2.8 or better lens for Sony Alpha cameras to focus. This is were the Nikon has an edge. I notice this with Canon DSLRs in the past compared to Nikon.
AI is coming, it will eliminate all mirrorless cameras, the need for photographers, including graphic designers. Sorry but there is no longer the need for skillz.

An entire year has passed since you first "announced" the Z8 coming from Nikon!! You'd think that they would have brought out something by now. So frustrating for us Nikon shooters who continue to wait and wonder if they should wait longer.

This is not an April FooIs Joke. I traded in a POS D850, for my Z9 back in August 2022. Compared to the D850, the Z9 is a vast Improvement with regards to AF, like Night and Day. The Happiest Day of D850 ownership was the Day I got rid of that POS
