I’m a survivor of the “troubled teen industry”.
While it makes me feel physically sick hearing her list all the things that so many of us went through, I’m so happy that someone is standing up and speaking for the victims.
I wish I knew how to help bring down this industry. I’ve been out for 16 years and the trauma is as fresh as ever. I don’t think I’ll be able to heal until I know that no one else will have to endure what I and so many others have.
