These kids are adorable
Love the identity she is giving the child models and all children through this work. Not only giving them the opportunity to identify with such influential people of color that shaped America and beyond but the opportunity to identify with themselves and the influence they have as young people and individuals. This is absolutely wondrous! I have a feeling the descendants and living relatives of the honorees would've been really touched. I may be Caucasian, but I'm very, very proud of those children.
I love what the little girl said, about the kids in this project being the leaders of the future. I they all nailed it! It must be so empowering to have the chance to portray such amazing people!

I think this is great to do, but understand your own message. Nelson Mandela was a great leader but that just seems weird to group him in with Black American history.
