‘Royals Through the Lens of the Queen’s Photographer’
Official Royal Photographer Chris Jackson takes us behind the scenes on a Royal Family photoshoot, and reveals what it’s like to work so closely with one of the world’s most iconic families.
Chris has worked with the Royal Family for over 20 years and has travelled to over 100 countries with them. This Royal photographer was behind the lens at major Royal events and has taken several of the images that will forever live on in the Royal archive.
Royal Family Channel Presenter Sophie Braybrook goes behind the scenes at some of Chris’s favourite snaps – from the Queen and Prince Philip feeding a naughty elephant a banana, to solemn image of the pair remembering those who died for the nation – and hear some hilarious tales about how he took them.
A huge thank you to the iconic Brown’s Hotel in London for hosting us in their exquisite Kipling Suite, and for their world-famous afternoon tea complete with champagne!

I think Chris Jackson is a great artist in the photographic field, not only for the work done with great professionalism, but for his love for the Art of Photography and also for his dedication and sensitivity in involving and capturing special and unique moments within a context where it is not easy to always follow that special click, and I also admire his loyalty and friendship to the Royal Family, this is very worthy and he seems to me to show a fascination for the History of the Royal Family, and tries to understand the feelings, and brings them to the photos very naturally, precisely for his affection and admiration also for the royal family, my congratulations to him and this union that becomes a bond of warmth, friendship, honesty, honor and respect. Much peace and good, health, and many joys and creativity for all involved.
