Mini was taken from her mother in the forest in Indonesia when she was just days old to be sold to a YouTuber. She became a “celebrity” in a global monkey torture online ring. The people who wanted to do something to Mini, who were willing to pay to see her suffer, were on the other side of the world, in the US and the UK. BBC Eye went undercover to expose the perpetrators and find Mini.

Unfortunately the racketeering baby monkey cartel is intrinsically linked with child/human/drug trafficking. It's massive and what was shown on this program barely scratches the surface. Those arrests and closure of the Telegram group in the grand scheme of things is negligible. Unfortunately it's like a continuous game of Whac-A-Mole, one group closes another one opens.
The difference between the monkey abuse channels and those involving children is the accessibility on social media platforms. The monkey pages, groups, channels are prolific on more mainstream forums and not pushed to the corners of some obscure platform like Telegram or Teleguard and ultimately the dark web. People from all over the world can come across those videos whilst just innocently scrolling through Fb or YT and if you click on the footage the algorithms will flood your feed with more and more until you end up seeing the more nefarious nature of "Naughty Baby Tako need milk Dad hungry " and there you will find the haters in the comments section. If you are here you don't need me to tell you what you will witness, you will not need me to explain how you can access the videos explicitly for human pleasure on the back of a 4 inch innocent defenceless baby monkey being tortured as requested by people thousands of miles across the Atlantic. I personally stumbled on an actual snuff movie on a Fb group that has changed my life completely. If I'd seen that involving a child I don't know where I would have ended up. So you see through this easily accessible content hordes of many are outraged which perpetuates the spreading and sharing of such videos. Over lockdowns this thing exploded to what it has become today. The awareness has been heightened from both sides of the coin, the haters and the protectors. Believe me if the footage contained children the pushback would enormous. Normal everyday folk don't see that kind of depravity, but they do involving baby monkeys. I must also point out that there is also a strong correlation between Zoosadisum and Zoophiles, yes that's an actual thing and paedophilia statistically. Some will argue that the resemblance between a baby macaque and a human baby is so close especially an infant stump tail is undeniable. Then you have the anthropomorphism of the baby monkey, feeding, dressing, bathing, chastising. The vilification of the baby monkey as having a tantrum, greedy, needs discipline, punishment etc. The boundaries another human can blur from binding the infant monkey's hand to stop self soothing to 'smack the tree rat round the head' with total support from other viewers would never be tolerated on social media with a human infant. People don't see that happening to a child unless you specifically seek it out. The monkey videos are forced and flooded to the general populace, but it is very much a part of the abhorrent underclass, subhuman world, it's a branch of the under world, it's just more readily available.
In one of the documentaries Yardfish put out, he speaks regarding YT and the use of it's platform for sharing child abuse content and there was a huge campaign to get it removed which YT only did when the advertising companies refused their ad revenue and told YT to stop putting their products on monetised channels showing such, a tactic many have tried with the monkey channels.
If such footage was available as the infant monkeys is available there would be a complete outcry. Everybody who is calling this out would more than call out footage containing children, leading to a campaign against it. People have been begging mainstream media to expose this for years. Tirelessly lobbying agencies, charities and governments, but it's not exclusive to baby monkeys at all. People can and do object and protest to both heinous material. They do this concurrently, some of it goes hand in hand. I've seen many comments from people highlighting concerns for a child heard or shown in these videos. Ironically the haters try and deflect the narrative calling those concerned sick, depraved, molesters while secretly seeking out child abuse images. Yardfish interviewed a criminal psychologist profiler who verified the correlation between the two yet those who raise concern for children belonging to members in a hate group are turned upon like a pack of wolves and get devoured to the point they are silenced.
Yes it is very much important to stop what is happening to children (I'm sorry to be so bland, but you have to choose your words carefully as YT have certain hot words that get comments deleted) and it trumps monkey abuse everytime without question. It doesn't mean that this campaign shouldn't get the attention or exposure it deserves right!? Everybody has heard of the crimes against children, but not many have heard about this phenomenon unless you've fallen across it like the people I've met, but it is growing and more people are speaking out just as they would have done had it involved a human infant.

I don't condone cruelty on animals and human. But I like to point out that what the drug companies and the chemical weapons industry in west do to them is a whole lot worse. Do you remember that truck load of monkeys in that accident in Philadelphia? I do not what they were for. I can only guess.
Thank you for exposing these people, and bringing it to national attention. I too found the monkey torture rabbit hole when watching videos of monkeys and apes (primatology fascinates me), and similar videos were recommended to me that introduced me to this phenomenon.
YouTube has finally (kind of) put the brakes on these kinds of videos, but Facebook is still absolutely rife with all but the most graphic of monkey torture videos – although some do slip through the cracks. I report them every time I see them recommended to me, and Facebook does absolutely nothing about it – in some instances responding to my report within 30 seconds, saying that a video where a man squeezes an infant monkey between his legs and force feeds it whiskey as it struggles for breath “doesn’t violate their terms of service”!
The more people know about this, the more pressure will be put on social media platforms to abolish it.
I've been watching monkeys from Asia for a couple of years now, and what I just haven't seen on YouTube, I've reported such videos and shorts so many times and they still exist, of course it was important for YouTube not to let anyone say bad things about vaccines, but the killing of animals and their bullying is ок. So you finally got it!

I’ve been reporting monkey abuse videos to Facebook for over a year. The vast majority of the time they respond by telling me that what is in the video doesn’t “violate their standard”. I’ve reported videos in which little monkeys are beaten, bit, drowned, and even killed. I’ve repeatedly reported particular video posters who are brutal and have literally driven the monkeys crazy. I’ve reported videos in which the monkey is killed. I’ve reported constantly on one particularly sadistic video producer, Anita Kumarii. All to no avail. Facebook has to know what’s going on in these channels and they choose to let it keep happening. Anita Kumarii’s account was closed but she resurfaced with the same sadistic monkey abuse videos only a few months later. Like most other monkey abuse posters, she has multiple accounts so when one gets shut down she simply moves on to the next one.
I’ve been reporting monkey abuse videos for at least a couple of years. In my opinion Facebook is far worse than YouTube.

I get how T.k thought it was funny at first, youtube started showing me these types of videos after watching the macaque SweetPea, then was realizing how deep and dark this goes. Sadly its getting on all social media apps. This is really the first documentary about this ive seen, after discovering monkeygate back in 2017
I saw a YT channel (yardfish's) exposing this a month ago or so. I am thankful I had no clue. This hurts my heart. It is disgusting that people could find joy hurting these babies.

If only there was a website whose users were dedicated to identifying and tracking down these monkey sadists, and keeping tabs on their behavior. A site perhaps named after a New Zealand farm. Oh, but that would run counter to the official BBC narrative surrounding the site.
The woman in Britain who was arrested by police as seen on BBC News 24 needs to be exposed and fully identified following charges etc. Where ever this woman lives the local community need to know what she has done and it has to be seen justice fully served!
