The year is 2475. Eden has joined Naomi and Caleb, his estranged family, on their spaceship in order to fulfil his dead brother’s final wish of spreading his ashes on the planet ‘Naavadi’. As the journey unfolds, the family must overcome the difficulties of navigating through space, as well as the family tensions placing strain upon their relationships.

So sorry, but unfortunately it was an idea used before, and done less interestingly, even scattering the ashes was annoying, I was waiting to see them float around and everyone laugh because his brother would have found it funny.
This was excellent but the props used completely distracted me from the story…..A spaceship that can travel the stars I would assume would be more technologically advanced than having dryer vent hoses and loose wires everywhere….the outside of your spaceship looked fantastic, the inside though looked like the 1940's and someone went shopping at Home Depot for props. Come on, you guys are too talented to go skimpy on the backdrop. Great story though!

Hello DUST Community! I'm Arvind Jay, the Writer-Director of STARGAZER.
The short was a Bournemouth Film School graduation project from the Arts University Bournemouth graduating cohort of 2021. I'm happy to answer any and all questions you have about the film.
