Sky News Australia host Piers Morgan says Prime Minister Scott Morrison crash tackling a child during a game of soccer “wasn’t exactly the election photo op” he would have wanted.
“Scott Morrison – who calls himself the Bulldozer – lived up to his name when he broke off from campaigning in Tasmania to gate crash a boy’s football game at Devenport Strikers’ Soccer Club,” he said.
Mr Morgan said he “actually got a bit of sympathy for the Aussie PM” – and highlighted a similar thing happened to then London Mayor Boris Johnson in 2015.
“Boris Johnson was merely the mayor of London back then so it didn’t do his political career any harm so maybe this’ll swing things the Bulldozer’s way in the Australian election,” he said.

I don't like the man, but he clearly lost his footing, stumbled, and the child just so happened to be in the way. Scomo was taking a tumble whether the kid was there or not.
