Don’t hire family or friends PERIOD. I don’t care if it’s a simple bullshit thing. It destroys relationships. My father is a very charitable person. He’s a carpenter and a large amount of people that he did work for that were friends or family fucked him over. It goes both ways. Just don’t do it.
I get the message; don't hire friends, family or anyone related.
What about that referral 'i know a guy who knows a guy'? 😄😄😄
Could you please do a new retouching video ? It's been a whileeee
This story reminds me of an ill fated etsy transation that started in July 2022 that I still haven't gotten resolved. I order a slow fashion pair of dungarees. They took months to arrive, but I expected that of course as it's one person making the garment. Only problem was…. they send the WRONG item! I contacted the seller and they gave a lackadaisical half apology and said I could send it back and they would fix it. (did not apologize for sending the wrong item in the first place) I sent it back months ago and have yet to receive the fixed garment. They stopped responding to my messages altogether and have taken down their storefront. I feel very frustrated because it wasn't a cheap item of clothing! I have questioned myself about this like I am being the a-hole to a small business owner? But I think I am allowed to be frustrated in this situation.
Nice i agree
The SIL has the audacity to be annoyed at OP for saying something? Wow.
I’m a wedding photographer and wow I’m so shook at all of this. I always have a contract detailing when I will send them the photos and I always send sneak peeks within 2-3 days 🤪. I’ve worked with friends before but for me just bc they’re friends doesn’t mean the professionalism goes down if anything I’m more intentional to make it professional👏🏽
Do a story on Clane Gessel. The bride’s father fired him from his $75k wedding contract for some questionable last minute demands.
could it be that she only stresses so often that you shouldn't hire friends or relatives because she is a professional photographer and she is afraid that she will get fewer clients 🤔
I once had a similar problem, it turned out that the e-mails simply ended up in the spam folder
I'm wondering if the photographer even has any pictures of the bride and groom at this point.
I wonder if the photographer had a contract. I’m using a photographer for my graduation pictures and she had a contract that I had to sign that went over everything (timing to get pictures back, payments, communication, etc)
That photographer is extremely unprofessional and in the wrong. Is that even legal for her to be sharing images from the wedding to anyone other than the paying client?
I would love to know who the photographer is. This is the kind of thing her future clients should really know about. I would never ever want to hire someone so disrespectful and careless for such an important, once in a lifetime event.
That photographer should never shoot weddings again. Shame on her.
Do you let them clients pick their photos or do you choose photos for them
Not Carmen Satiego 😂
My sister-in-law's sister did my graduation photos. Thankfully it turned out ok.
Oh my gosh, I need an update, the bride ever get her photos?
Something similar happened to my friend. Her wedding photographer was a friend of her mother-in-law, so the photographer sent the photos to the MIL instead of directly to the bride and groom.
Yeah, my sibling hired our cousin as wedding photographer. The wedding was in June and they didn't get the FIRST BATCH until the end of November 💀
It was the “waited for weeks” for me 🤦🏾♀️. The client was not in the wrong at all.
Photographer is very wrong. I thought it was going to be opposite. But the entire story proved me wrong.
