A student from Robb Elementary speaks on what it was like during the shooting at his elementary school in Uvalde, Texas where at least 15 people, including 14 children, were killed.
Several others were injured.
The alleged shooter was killed, local police confirmed. It is believed that shooter acted alone.

I don’t seem to understand something, when the gunman got to the school and was about to enter the school through the back door, he exchange shots with policeman or with the policeman in the school or whoever he exchange shots with, I believe that in that moment right there they were supposed to have gone behind him and shot him even though if it was in the leg to hold him down, and if the door will have locked after the gunman went in, the police wish you have shoot at the door to open it, because what do they think the gunman was going to go do go say a hell Mary our father or have lunch with them with a gun in his hand, so yes the policeman of Texas it’s at Falls it’s much as far as the Gunman,

The people in charge made many mistakes the big one was the back door to the school was open. In this day and age you just do not do that.You have to be a total moron to prop a school back door open they lock when they shut why would a teacher prop it open.I think this teacher should be looking at jail time you know they were taught to lock all back doors at all times WTF.Anything can happen when you have a school back door wide open this is unreal.
This is no ones fault except our lazy complacent government. They can frivolously spend money on unnecessary things, organizations etc., but they can’t make security a priority for our nations children. We have scanners and security check points at airports, jails and prisons , but our children have no protection. Guns are an issue, but criminals always have other means and will resort to bombs and other weapons in order to fulfill their thirst for death. We as a nation must face up to the fact that schools need to be made top priority for high top notch security just as our airports, jails, prisons etc. Our nations children are our future. They should have first priority in being safe and secure at school. No more one or two security officers for a large school of hundreds of children. Put your money where your mouth is and employee many officers for buses and schools, metal detectors, X-ray scanners, and make it a priority for each and every teacher to have combat and weapons training. Soldiers DO NOT go into battle untrained and unarmed. Teachers are going to have to face the facts of their reality. They are working in a combat zone and do have lives to protect as well as their own. Our nation is going to have to wake up and face this reality and stop whining. Do something that puts a damn stop to it. It’s this nations own fault for not handling this EFFECTIVELY SOONER. They have set back on their hands and allowed this to continue. Parents need to get off their hands as well and demand protection for their children. Stop being silent and useless. People pay millions for football, sports etc. SCHOOL IS WHERE FUTURE FOOTBALL AND SPORTS PLAYERS COME FROM. SEE IT AS AN “INVESTMENT”, IN OUR NATIONS CHILDREN. GET OFF YOUR ASSES AND ACTUALLY HANDLE THIS DEATH SITUATION. YOU CAN TAKE AWAY ALL THE GUNS YOU WANT AND THERE WILL STILL BE KILLING BY ILLEGAL GUNS AND OTHER WEAPONS. YOUR FOCUS IS TOO NARROW. THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX. LET GO OF THE MONEY AND SPEND IT ON SOMETHING THAT IS ACTUALLY IMPORTANT. SAVING LIVES OF CHILDREN.
