    Ukraine has two major options:

    1) Embark on a hard-core offensive to remove Russian control of the land bridge to Crimea. The removal of the Kerch Bridge would isolate Crimea from easy reinforcement and supply. Essentially this would put Crimea under siege conditions with eventual capitulation by Russia. This would destabilize what's left of Russia with hopefully dismantling of the Russian Federation and hopefully the destruction of a significant percentage of their nuclear warheads.

    2) Continue with "forever" war tactics with Russia. This would provide massive amounts of AI data for Western air defense systems allowing the West to perfect the anti-missile/anti-air systems which of course is desirable with an increasingly unstable Russia/North Korea/Iran trifecta. That's the silver lining of a continual attritional conflict.

    Either way, the West wins.

My condolences to the millions of Muslim Uyghurs in Xinjiang who lost their
    – lands, religious practices and dignity,
and now become genocide victims of the Chinese regime with indisputable evidence from:
    – hacked Xinjiang Police Files,
    – satelite images,
    – eye witnesses,
    – survivors,
    – Chinese official documents and
    – multiple press investigations since 2008.

Imagine pretending like you don't answer to investors, advertisers, or your own business interests. Now throw in a little(a lot) of government funding. You're all sellouts and you know it. CBC "news" is absolute garabge and the people working for this organization should be ashamed of themselves.

We only see the atrocities now because they are committed by Russia, but we ignored them when we did it even worse in Irak or Afghanistan and other countries, then we kept a blind eye and we stayed on silence.

I’m just Glad we can force Countries to get the energy they need from Russia. The Idea of a peaceful Country like Canada supplying the energy they need is horrible to all of us. It’s sad to think of Russia not being able to fund the war.
