Even though it looked wet, cold and miserable it is an incredibly beautiful place. I got a lot of value from watching your editing as I had never used the adjustment brush think I will be now.I like how you explain and demonstrate information makes it easy to understand . I am going over the learning videos I got a time ago.

At last, I learnt how to cope with swaying grasses in the foregroundand at the same time focus stack – I spent a lot of time on this and gave up, eventually. Next time, it will work. A thousand thanks !
I am a bit confused re: editing. I understand white reveals and black conceals in PS. Are you in fact hiding the waterfall in the top image and letting the underneath one come through as it is now hidden on layer above? Informative. Thanks.

Wow…how wonderful to be able to find such a beautiful place. Great story and lesson. One question, i use the Sony 24-105mm on A7riii which is fixed f4. I know you use a fixed f 2.8. If i shoot image at say f11 is there any difference between both lenses at f11? Just interested from hand holding perspective, hope my question makes sense.
Great shot Will, definitely earned. Have experienced the same in Fiordland a number of times where it can take upwards of an hour to get 300 – 400 metres ahead. Frustrating but very rewarding when you do break through to a beautiful spot. The editing was a clear and concise work flow for one of the more trying shots out in the field. Hadn't heard anyone teaching the open/closed curtains before when it comes to revealing layers. Well done all round. Your videos just keep getting better.
