British Vogue presents Princess Diana’s Life in Looks with The Crown star, Elizabeth Debicki. Ahead of the release of Netflix’s The Crown Season 5, Elizabeth Debicki takes Vogue through Princess Diana’s 20 most memorable looks, from the infamous revenge dress to her first British Vogue cover in the ’80s featuring chandelier diamond earrings.
When asked for her favourite look, Debicki opted for Diana’s blazer, jeans and cowboy boots ensemble from the Guards Polo Club in Windsor (1988): “This is what I think we think of when we think of Diana in the ‘90s. The cowboy boots are incredible; we had these remade — I was obsessed with them. She was probably the first Royal to ever wear a baseball cap in public. Just to see a Royal off-duty and make it so cool. I think it’s so much a sense that she made all the choices herself”. Watch the full episode of British Vogue’s Life in Looks, as we break down Princess Diana’s 20 most memorable looks.

The actress playing Diana is sceletal and ill looking. Pathetic.
She looks wayyy different I wouldn't recognize her otherwise
Rip Diana 🙏🏽
Камила пусть в аду горит
I just know that THIS would be Princess Diana’s favourite fictional princess diana. She’s respectfully as close as it gets to doing her justice- both in essence, and in looks. Gorgeous🤍
"Are you cooking him breakfast" is one guy asking whether the other guy is good in bed.
Where is her sheer black lace top/outfit from?
At first, I was impressed with Emma Corrin’s portrayal of Diana. Watching it back, I found her portrayal cringey. Emma, and the writers, also made her so unlikeable. The stories were so one dimensional and superficial. I suppose it’s hard when you cannot focus entirely on one set of characters. That being said, looking forward to seeing what Elizabeth does with this role.
Elizabeth is such beautiful as Diana was. A great choice from The Crown! Really can't wait to see this new season.
Pretty
Love her outfit! Can someone tell from where is it?
WoW she looks just like Paris Hilton 😮😊
I would literally watch an hourlong video of this, just this.
Found really strange and , somehow, disrespectful not to have mentioned, among all Diana's outfits along the years, the dresses ( it's reductive to call them simply " dresses ", they were masterpieces of art ) Gianni Versace designed for her. He was a close friend to her and played an important role in making her, after the divorce, a fashion icon. He had the capacity to highlight her sexiness without making her ridiculous or unappropriated for her role. A great presence in her life that should be mentioned and never forgotten ( they both died in 1997, Gianni in July and Diana a month after).
You more like Paris Hilton ,than Diana
This dress broke the news
Mostly I love is the dressess they show … Thanku
Wow✨
This year, with the passing of a great Queen and Charles acceded the throne, with 25 years of Diana's death, the new season of The Crown, all made me think about Diana even more.
Not many people feel the same way, though. I hear many commented about, "Get over it, it's been 25 years. Move on!", "She was also unfaithful to Charles." and "Camilla is the new queen. Woohoo!"
The casting for this show is impeccable.
She’s a bit too skinny but everything else is on point.
Actually her body language is kinda similar to Princess Diana in real life!
She is a great choice for Diana's cast
How they chose you is beyond me and all the rest you are a disgrace to Diana's legacy I've never watched the crown you lot make me sick making money while her two boys went and still are going through he'll losing there mother. You along the idiots who watch this garbage should burn in he'll.
Cashing in on a dead woman's memory, after trashing her in the show. Classy for both Vogue and Debicky.
Bravo Dear!!! Very Nice ❤️
Princess Diana was so classy, especially with her choice of timepieces. Her bond with watches, the classic Cartier Tank – what an icon.
When will casting directors realise that we want a person who looks close to exactly as possible to the person they're making the film or series about. Emma & Elizabeth were amazing choices to play to Diana. Congrats on your Oscar nomination Kristen but no.
She is perfectly cast as Diana. Tall, willowy, imbued with this inherent sense of refined, regal grace and delicate elegance from the way she speaks to her mannerisms. Elizabeth's depiction on The Crown will be THE definitive on-screen portrayal of the Princess of Wales, bar none. Just the way she speaks about her life with such invested passion is a joy to watch in itself.
The moment she recreates Diana’s voice in “I don’t eat breakfast.” gave me chills. Diana is literally speaking through Debicki from heavens.
7:15: I think that the dress that Diana wore at the auction of her royal gowns was much more beautiful. Or the Versace purple dress that she wore in Chicago in 1996.
The voice she made of diana was so like diana
I wish she had a daughter 😢
This skeleton woman looks nothing like Diana.
Diana's look post separation/divorce was everything! She seemed liberated and like she found her true style. Even her casual style was so cool!
I love Elizabeth Debicki's voice because it is so warm and gentle.
Elizabeth is SO tall, I’m really looking forward to seeing how they do the blocking for this season
Diana needs to Rest In Peace without u idiots using her name, her story for money. Shame on you.
You are classless for agreeing to film her actual death scene when her two living sons spoke of their pain
she is perfect as Diana! I also would love to see her as Galadriel in other adaptations. She embodies everything Galadriel was described.
God, I could hear her talk all day. My heart <3
I knew they would cast Elizabeth Debicki as Diana ….
Another Australian actress doing well…has a similar tone to Blanchett
She's really a fan of Diana! Helps a lot with portrayal
Maybe it’s just me complaining but it’s weird that ‘The Crown’ has virtually no storyline involving South Asia so far.
