i didn't get into brockhampton until i was in high school but they helped me get through the pandemic through their music and i'm so sad yet so excited to see what they have planned for this album, they've always been great with mystery and mastery for every one of their projects, thank you for everything brockhampton <3
What if…BROCKHAMPTON's supposed "final album"
THE FAMILY is yet another marketing ploy.
Yet another new beginning for the group,
yet another therapy session that sees each member confronting one another, finding ways on how they could be 'A FAMILY' again?
Basically, I'm imagining what if THE FAMILY is a BROCKHAMPTON that reads like a family portrait navigating the ups and downs of BROCKHAMPTON, and in the end, they accept that they've grown from friends to family, accepting each others' flaws and helping each other out.
I mean, if you look at the album cover, it encompasses BROCKHAMPTON's entire story so far.
It's a chaotic collage that embodies the feeling of being a family.
Perhaps we could only imagine.
We could only dream.
Fuck, THE ENDING hurts so much.

This song is so layered holy shit. I love the harmonies in the beginning and the way the snares and claps are layered so subtly at the end, it adds to the impact of the final lines of the song. Easily Kevin's best writing, so fucking good
