If I have to do all over again, I would refrain myself, family and friends from giving my kids with so many presents. It is insane to see so many toys and dresses. Now that the kids are grown, it is so hard to let go of them for the sake of memories. Honestly, simplicity or less is more. There are so many children all over the world who never celebrated their birthdays and never received birthday gifts. And if they do celebrate their birthdays with school mates, the result is abused from their classmates or friends by smearing the cake at the person's face or dumping water or soda or urine on the cake. I've watched it on YOUTUBE. Extremely sad. What is really important of all is have your child learn about Jesus Christ. Take him or her to church and rededicate his or her life to God.
