Vaginal Childbirth (Birth)

Vaginal Childbirth (Birth)

UPDATE: Watch an updated version of this animation here:

License this video for your hospital’s health literacy or marketing initiatives:

This video, created by Nucleus Medical Media, depicts a normal vaginal birth using a time-lapse effect. Strong uterine contractions push the fetus (baby) forcibly through the birth canal during labor. Concurrently, a picture-in-picture effect at the upper right shows the baby’s head moving through the mother’s pelvic outlet.

And there are still some people that have the nerve to call women weak. I'd like to see them deal with a period that's equipped with cramps as painful as a thousand stabs to the stomach. I'd like to see them in labour for 16 hours, pushing out a baby.  Women are not weak, we are strong!

Women complain all the time for birth pain… I mean… come on… they never played Call of Duty with slow net connection so they will never find out what real pain is!

LOL. That post that has 130+ thumbs-up. So women LOVE to toot their own horn, as WOMEN.
Childbirth: women want to be HEROES because
    1) it is an unbelievably painful ordeal!! they can hardly handle, the poor dears, omg,
    or because
2)they can do it and the pain doesn't bother them as much,
as who? A person without a vagina? Yeah, good point, people not made by nature to shit out babies aren't capable of childbirth.

Wow…I can't believe I did this four times and without any pain medicine…I cringe looking at what my body did! And as for that comment about having 9 months to prepare that is a whole lot of… bs. It was very painful and exhausting and yes u may have 9 month to think about it but when the moment comes to push…let's just say I felt like my eyeballs were gonna come out of my sockets!

Well don't say that just because your tattoo artist said it. Sometimes stones in the bladder or kidneys can cause similar pain or sometimes bigger(if complications occur), and this is prevalent to both male and female genders.

Females might handle more pain, but a male's body has evolved to handle harsher situations, more testosterone means more powerful and able to cope in the wild world.

Also you should account that a females body gets ready to endure it in over 9 months.
